Indiana is saluting 55 family farms that have stayed in operation through multiple generations.

The Emerson/Bratton Farm LLC, located in Cynthiana, in Gibson County, has been in operation since 1811.
The family received the Bicentennial award for over 200 years of ownership.

Operating 100 years means surviving two world wars, the Great Depression and Great Recession, and countless droughts.
