Good Samaritan Struck and Killed on I-70



Indiana State Police say a man who was helping the driver of a disabled SUV was struck and killed when he apparently stepped into a driving lane of Interstate 70 east of Terre Haute.

John Dugger of Terre Haute was hit by another SUV driven by 55-year-old Terry Scarbrough of Farmersburg.

Dugger later died at an Indianapolis hospital.
