Three Motorcyclists Injured During Governor's Motorcycle Ride

Three motorcyclists were injured Friday during Governor Mike Pence’s motorcycle ride across southern Indiana.

The governor was not involved.

Indiana State Police say the accident happened on Indiana 356 east of Lexington in Scott County.

Police say four riders were involved and three were injured.

The three were taken to a hospital in Kentucky with non-life threatening injuries.

The ride is designed to bring awareness to motorcycle safety in Indiana and raise money for the Indiana National Guard Relief Fund to assist Guard soldiers and their families.
