Linton Woman Dies from Injuries Received in Motorcycle Accident
A Linton woman died early Tuesday morning from injuries received in a motorcycle accident Monday night in Greene County.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department says 50-year-old Ronald Lehman was driving the motorcycle on State Road 157 north of Worthington when a deer ran into his path.
Lehman applied the brakes, but lost control of the motorcycle and laid the bike down on the roadway.
Both Lehman and his passenger, 43-year-old Rennae Lehman, were thrown from the motorcycle.
Neither was wearing a helmet.
Ronald Lehman refused treatment at the scene.
Rennae Lehman suffered severe head trauma and was flown to Eskenazi Hospitals in Indianapolis where she was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
