Lane Closures Planned for U.S. 41 in Vanderburgh and Gibson Counties
Motorists are asked to be on the lookout for temporary lane closures starting today on U.S. 41 in Vanderburgh and Gibson Counties.
This work is part of a 15.6 million dollar road resurfacing project.
The project includes bridge rehabilitation, turn lane reconstruction, improvements to the Warrenton Road and U.S. 41 intersection, deep patching, the milling of the existing roadway and resurfacing of the road between Coal Mine Road in Fort Branch and Boonville-New Harmony Road in Evansville.
Crews will begin bridge rehabilitation work today.
During this time, there will be lane closures on both north- and southbound U.S. 41 on the bridges over Lutz Creek and Thurman Ditch.
It's anticipated the bridge rehabilitation work will last until August 19th.
Additional traffic advisories will be issued later in the year.
