Deputy Stops Vehicle Traveling In Excess of 100 MPH on US 41



A Gibson County Sheriff’s deputy arrested an Evansville man Saturday night for traveling 102 MPH on US 41.

29-year-old Sujan Neupane told the deputy he was driving so fast to get his stepson back to the Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village in Knox County.

At the close of the investigation, Neupane was taken to the Gibson County Jail.

The juvenile was transported by the Vincennes Youth Village to their facility.

Neupane was cited for Driving With an Expired Operators License and charged with Reckless Driving, and Neglect of a Dependent.
