Excise Police Release Results of Alcohol Sales Inspections

Indiana State Excise Police say 91-percent of Indiana‘s alcoholic beverage establishments were not willing to sell to minors over the last 6 months.

From January 1st to June 30th of this year, excise officers conducted nearly eight-thousand inspections, with 695 failures, and a 91.2-percent compliance rate.

Excise Police say the most willing businesses to sell to minors were civic centers, hotels and liquor stores.
