Gambill Sworn in as 45th District State Representative
Democrat Bionca Gambill was sworn in Tuesday to replace Kreg Battles of Vincennes as 45th District State Representative.
Battles announced in may he was resigning to spend more time with his grandsons.
Gambill, who is from Vigo County, says Indiana needs to raise wages by attracting good-paying jobs.
She says current minimum wage jobs keep people in poverty.
Gambill says her three top priorities are a strong public education, a strong middle class, and strong cities and towns.
Gambill says we need to make sure that tax dollars earmarked for public education do not go to charter schools or voucher schools.
