Counterfeit Credit Cards Found During Traffic Stop

Indiana State Police arrested an Indianapolis man Tuesday after finding several counterfeit credit and gift cards in his vehicle.

20-year-old Halton Kai was pulled over on I-70 in Putnam County for a license plate violation.

He gave the trooper a drivers license that wasn't his.

It turned out Kai did not have a valid driver's license under his name.

During a search of Kai's vehicle, police turned up the counterfeit gift and credit cards.

Kai is facing preliminary charges of Forgery, Counterfeiting, Driving While Suspended and False Informing.
