Motorcyclist Arrested after Fleeing State Trooper
State Police arrested an Evansville man Monday afternoon after he fled from a state trooper on his motorcycle at speeds of up to 135 miles an hour.
Police say the chase was called off when 20-year-old Tyler Burch began driving through several yards in the area of Oak hill Road and Bergdolt Road.
The trooper was able to get Burch's license plate number and later arrested him at his home just a few blocks away.
Burch is scheduled to appear in court today on charges of Resisting Law Enforcement with a vehicle, Reckless Driving, Exceeding the Posted Speed Limit, and Driving While Suspended.
