Search Continues for Driver of Hit-and-Run Vehicle
The Brown County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help in locating the driver of a car who struck and killed a pedestrian earlier this month and left the scene.
It happened on Sunday, June 1st on State Road 135 near the Bill Monroe Music Park in northern Brown County sometime between 12:20 AM and 2:20 AM.
The victim, 36-year-old Chad Demuth from Kentucky, is believed to have been walking south on State Road 135 when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
Police say the vehicle may have been a 1988 to 1997 Chevrolet or GMC C1500 or W/T model.
There should be damage to the front of the truck, the headlamp and a mirror.
