Bedford Man Injured after Falling Off Dam

The Department of Natural Resources says a Bedford man was injured Saturday night when he fell 17 feet from a dam on the East Fork of the White River near the town of Williams.

An Indiana Conservation Officer says 47-year-old Jerry Lemmons was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of head trauma and broken bones.

He is reported to be in fair condition.

Lemmons had been fishing when he lost his balance and fell from a platform adjacent to the dam.
