Pence says Indiana May Sue over EPA Regulation

Governor Mike Pence says Indiana could sue to block a proposed federal rule calling on power plants to cut carbon emissions.

Pence says he‘ll consult Attorney General Greg Zoeller on whether there are grounds to do so.

And the governor says the state will use all other avenues to fight the regulation.

Pence says the proposed federal regulations will dramatically increase electricity rates in Indiana and cost thousands of jobs.

About 80-percent of the state's energy comes from coal power plants.
