Alabama Man Facing Numerous Charges after Traffic Stop
A Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested an Alabama man early Friday morning on numerous charges following a traffic stop on Southbound US 41.
The deputy pulled over 22-year-old Dorian McFarland of Madison, Alabama because his taillights were not working.
Police say McFarland gave police a fake name to conceal the fact there was a warrant for his arrest out of Alabama.
While authorities were trying to identify McFarland, a small amount of marijuana was found in his car.
He was arrested for Misdemeanor False Informing, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, and Felony Identity Deception.
