Two Airlifted After Clay County Crash

Two people were airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital Monday afternoon following a four vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in Clay County.

Indiana State Police say 43-year-old John Fenton of Toronto, Canada was driving a pick-up pulling a box trailer when he failed to slow for a construction zone and hit two vehicles, one of which struck a fourth vehicle.

A passenger in one vehicle, 53-year-old Russell Graham of Orillia, Ontario, Canada and a passenger in another vehicle, 25-year-old Anthony Foy of Muncie, were airlifted to an Indianapolis Hospital.

Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed for nearly 1½ hours for the crash investigation and cleanup.
