20th Annual Knox County Relay for Life Underway
The 20th Annual Knox County Relay for Life gets underway Saturday morning at 10-o-clock at Gregg Park in Vincennes.
It runs until 10:00 AM Sunday.
Relay officials expect over 300 participants in this year’s event, with a goal of around 100-thousand dollars.
Last year, 32 Relay teams raised over 70-thousand dollars to battle all forms of cancer.
This year’s Relay has switched back to a 24-hour format this year, and has also returned to its original home of Gregg Park.
Last year’s Relay was held at Vincennes University.
Opening ceremonies will take place this morning and the annual Luminary ceremony tonight.
The Relay’s closing ceremony will be held Sunday morning.
