A former volunteer firefighter is going to prison for seven years for starting a fire at a hog barn in Crawford County, Illinois.
Craig Fuller's guilty plea comes almost a year to the day of when he was arrested for arson.
In addition to the prison time, Fuller was also ordered to pay over 22-thousand dollars in restitution to Scott Long.
In addition to the criminal case, Fuller also settled a civil case with the Longs in which he was ordered to pay 125-thousand-dollars.
Other criminal and civil cases were dismissed.
In addition to the hog barn fire, Fuller was arrested after he started a fire in June that caused an explosion at an oil tank battery.
