A 28-year-old Washington man was sentenced this week for his part in the murder of 17-year-old Devan Burris of Washington last December. As part of a negotiated plea agreement, Craig Streete pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. The Washington Times-Herald reports Streete was sentenced to two years in prison, 10-years of work release and two years on home detention. Burris died from a gunshot wound December 6th after a drug deal went bad on Oak Grove Road near the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Washington. 18-year-old Logan Evans of Washington was sentenced to 45-years in prison for Burris' murder.
