People who've had their drivers' licenses revoked in Illinois because they got too many DUIs may be getting another shot at getting behind the wheel. Lawmakers are considering a plan that would allow them to get a restricted driving permit. It only applies to people who've been busted at least four times. They'll need to prove that they've been sober for at least three years, that they've been in a treatment program, and they'd have to have a Breathalyzer installed in their car. The bill cleared a House committee and is ready for a vote on the floor.
