Great news for college graduates.
The latest unemployment figures show that the jobless rate for new graduates is only about 3.3 percent. It‘s 6.3% for high school graduates.
Ball State University economist Dr. Mike Hicks says new college graduates with degrees in healthcare, education, agriculture, natural resources, communications and the stem fields will do the best.
He says graduates with degrees in the arts and humanities, liberal arts, architecture and new home construction will see challenges.
However, Hicks adds that top graduates in those fields are getting good-paying jobs
