Indiana Kicks-Off New Child Immunization Program

The Indiana State Department of Health has launched a program to help new parents get kids immunized on time.

Parents of every child born in Indiana will get a greeting card from State Health Commissioner William Van Ness congratulating them on the birth of their child, and the card also serves as reminder and vaccine schedule.

The CDC reports 61-percent of Indiana children ages 19-35 months get immunizations on time.
