Vincennes Police charged one with child molestation yesterday following an extensive investigation.
Officers arrested 20-year-old Van Pek Thang. The alleged incident happened in August of 2012. No details about the investigation or the incident were released. The Vincennes Police Department, Indiana Division of Child Services and the Knox County Prosecutor’s office conducted the investigation.
Thang was held without bond in the Knox County Jail.
Vincennes Police arrested one for residential entry early this morning.
37-year-old Douglas Oliver of Vincennes was taken into custody after officers received a call about a male subject fighting with the residents of 1207 Upper 11th Street.
Officers say he fled the scene before they arrived, but later returned to the house. Officers were called to the scene again and, this time, were able to apprehend him.
He was taken to the Knox County Jail.
