8th Annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day April 26th
The eighth annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
The program, sponsored by the US Drug Enforcement Administration, offers residents a chance to get rid of pills, cough syrup, and other unwanted medications that have been piling up around their homes.
The program will not accept new or used needles.
The collection is intended for liquid and pill medications only.
Those who wish take part in the program may drop off their prescription drugs for disposal at any Indiana State
Police Post throughout the state, including the Jasper and Evansville Posts.
Dubois County will host two additional sites: The Saint Anthony Fire Station and the Dubois Fire Station.
Those two sites will be open from 10 a.m. until noon.
