Area Schools Make State's 4-Star List

Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz has announced Indiana’s 4 Star schools for 2012-2013.

In order to achieve this designation, a school must be in the top 25th percentile of schools in three ISTEP-based categories. 

A total of 311 schools received the award throughout the state.

Among them are Barr-Reeve Middle High School in Montgomery, Holy Cross School in Fort Branch, Precious Blood School in Jasper, St. Joseph School in Princeton, Ireland Elementary School,  Jasper High School, Celestine Elementary, Northeast Dubois High School, Otwell Elementary School, Cedar Crest Intermediate School in Huntingburg, Ferdinand Elementary, Pine Ridge Elementary in Birdseye, and Sullivan High School,
