Illinois House Approves Two Anti-Bullying Bills

The Illinois House has approved two bills designed to address the problem of bullying in schools.

The first bill gives schools more power to address cyber-bullying problems that occur off of school grounds.

Illinois State Representative Laura Fine of Glenview says the school would have to receive a report of a bullying problem in order to act.

A second measure requires schools to track reports of bullying and whether those claims are valid.

Both bills now move to the senate for a vote.
