College Grads Lacking “Soft Skills”
The job market may not be as bright for new college grads as they might think.
A new Workforce Solutions Group survey shows 60% of employers say young applicants lack the "soft skills" they‘re seeking.
Soft skills are defined as communication and interpersonal skills, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and writing ability.
Other surveys show that while those with technical, math, science and computer-related skills are important, they remain secondary to workers who are team players and can plan and prioritize.
