FEMA Denies January Snowstorm Assistance

Indiana is being denied financial assistance for the January 5th snowstorm that crippled nearly half of the state.
Public assistance grants were requested for 49 counties to help pay for debris and snow removal, damage to buildings and equipment, emergency protective measures, and more.

On Wednesday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency ruled that the storm wasn't bad enough for assistance to be provided.
