The event this year will celebrate the fictional character, the Alice of Old Vincennes, of the novel written by Maurice Thompson in 1900. The story is set during the Revolutionary War.
The Rendezvous will also feature battle re-enactments of the 1779 capture of Fort Sackvile. Those are set for 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday and at noon and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is 8 dollars per day at the gate and 2 dollars for children.
Buttons for both days are 9 dollars.
They can be purchased in advance for 7 dollars at the George Rogers Clark National Park and all local financial institutions.
The event itself is at the French Commons at Second and Willow Street In Vincennes.
