State Representative Mark Messmer Honored For Service
Indiana House Republicans honored State Representative Mark Messmer of Jasper this week for his six years of service to Indiana.
Messmer is not seeking re-election to the 63rd District House seat this year in order to seek the Republican nomination for Indiana Senate District 48.
That seat is presently held by Democrat Lindel Hume who is stepping down this year after 40-years of public service.
During his time in the Indiana House Representative Messmer has served as Chairman of the Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development Committee and as a member of the Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee, the Financial Institutions Committee and the Public Policy Committee.
