The Vincennes Community School Board approved four educational programs last night.
The first was a grant application to develop a partnership between Lincoln High School and the George Rogers Clark Historic Park to build a U.S. History curriculum for eleventh graders.
The board also approved a ten day program for students enrolled in Kindergarten next school year that may need a jump start on school.
That program will run from July 21st through August 1st at Vigo Elementary.
A Riley based program to help third graders who need to pass the I-Read Standardized test was also approved.
That effort will run for three weeks beginning June 2nd.
And finally, the Vincennes School Board approved Summer School classes and dates for the high school.
The classes that will include credit recovery, English, Math, and Physical Education will be held at Clark Middle School from June 2nd through June 27th.
Clark will be used since Lincoln High School will see major work done on its heating and air conditioning systems this summer.
