Methamphetamine Organization Dismantled in Vigo County, Five Arrested.

Authorities say a four-month investigation has lead to the arrests of five people and the dismantling of a Vigo County methamphetamine organization.

The Indiana State Police, DEA and Vigo County Drug Task Force conducted the investigation.

Arrested were 35-year-old Marcus McKinley Pizzola, 32-year-old Stacy Holden and 48-year-old Jon Bryan, all from Terre Haute, and 54-year-old Robert Richey Senior and 42-year-old Steven Scank of West Terre Haute.

Pizzola is accused of being involved in the transportation of meth from Atlanta, Georgia to the Terre Haute area for distribution.

On Saturday, Pizzola was stopped and arrested on US 41 near Pimento as he returned from the Atlanta area.

During the traffic stop, officers found about three and a half pounds of methamphetamine and one pound of marijuana.

Additional charges against the five are pending.

The investigation is ongoing and no other information is being released.
