Toyota Indiana Surpasses $20 Million in Donations Since 1997
30 nonprofits in the Tri-State will share more than 140-thousand dollars in grants from Toyota Indiana this quarter.
The amount moves the needle past the $20 million dollar mark donated in the area since 1997.
The grants will be used by nonprofit agencies to improve the quality of life in the Tri-State, something Toyota says is part of its mission.
Grants from Toyota are awarded to nonprofit organizations in the counties where the majority of its nearly 47-hundred team members live.
Counties represented this quarter were Wabash County in Illinois, Henderson County in Kentucky and Dubois, Gibson, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick counties in Indiana.
