Body Found at Alcoa Identified

Warrick County authorities have identified the body of a man found Monday morning at Alcoa’s Warrick Operations as that of 35-year-old Joseph Nelson of Martinsville, Indiana.

Investigators suspect foul play in his death.

WFIE-TV in Evansville reports they’re suspicious because Nelson's injuries are not consistent with an accident.

Although his body was discovered at Alcoa’s coal-unloading facility, Nelson is not an Alcoa worker.

An autopsy was conducted Monday night.

However, the cause of Nelson’s death has not been released.
