General Motors Recalling Nearly 800-Thousand Cars

General Motors is recalling nearly 800-thousand older model vehicles because of a problem that could allow the engine and airbags, among other parts,
to unintentionally turn off.

Reportedly there have been six front-seat fatalities as a result of airbags not deploying.

The cars affected are 2005 to 2007 model year Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 compact cars.

Additionally GM reports knowing about 17-other non-fatal injuries as a result of the airbag not deploying.
