Mayors, Pence Talk About Cut In Business Tax

Governor Mike Pence says he is "open to" the idea of giving state money back to towns and cities if lawmakers go through with a proposed cut in the state's tax on business equipment.

On Tuesday, Pence met with mayors from across the state who shared their concerns about losing the revenue and what it would mean to city services.

At the meeting, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard said he supports efforts to make Indiana more competitive in attracting business, but not at the cost of local services and the quality of life in our cities.
