Dubois Co. Youth Presentation Rescheduled
The Indiana Youth Institute presentation on child well-being trends in Dubois County has been rescheduled due to bad weather.
It will now be held on February 19th from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Dubois County Community Foundation, 600 McCrillus Street in Jasper.
Dubois County’s child poverty rate is well below the state’s rate according to the KIDS COUNT in Indiana Data Book, yet statistics also show that the rate of free and reduced-price lunch usage, along with the use of food stamps, has increased over the past four years.
The forum will take an in-depth look at Dubois County’s trends in child well-being and how to find resources to help local children.
