Much of Indiana Paralyzed by Winter Storm

Many schools, government offices and businesses are closed today due to the latest winter storm.

Travel conditions are terrible.

Daviess, Martin and Sullivan Counties are under a Travel Watch while Knox, Pike and Greene Counties are under a Travel Advisory.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of the state.

It forecasts 6 to 10 inches of snow north of Interstate 70 and 4 to 7 inches south of it.

It also says "significant" ice accumulations from freezing rain were expected across southern Indiana.
