Purdue Shooting

Police at Purdue University say both the suspect and the victim in Tuesday's fatal shooting on campus were students at the school.

Purdue Police Chief John Cox stressed the victim had been targeted by the suspect and this was "not an active shooter incident."

The suspected gunman has been identified as Cody Cousins, a 23-year-old engineering student.

Police said the victim was 21-year-old teaching assistant Andrew Boldt from West Bend, Wisconsin.
