Polar Vortex Back For Round Two



The polar vortex is apparently coming back for more. 

Temperatures across parts of the Midwest and Eastern Seaboard should hover right around normal today, but they're forecast to take a plunge after that.  

This arctic blast won't be as cold as the last one, as temps should stay above zero in most areas.  

Of course, that's without the wind chill.

The latest forecast for the City of Washington calls for a daytime high of around 39.

The temperature will plunge to 19 tonight.

The temperature will drop to 13 by late Tuesday afternoon with a wind chill of three below..

The low Tuesday night will be around 7, with a wind chill of around one-below.
