School Corporation Accountability Grades Released
The Indiana Department of Education released school corporation accountability grades Wednesday.
The grades were made public after a vote by the Indiana State Board of Education.
The grades were determined after individual school grades were determined during December's meeting of the State Board of Education.
In Daviess County, Barr Reeve received an A, the same as 2012.
North Daviess received an A, up from a C the year before.
And, Washington Community Schools received a C, the same as 2012.
In Knox County, the North Knox School Corporation received a letter grade of D, the same as a year before.
South Knox received a B, up from a C.
And the Vincennes Community School Corporation received a C, up from a D in 2012.
In Martin County, Shoals Community Schools received a C, up from a D.
And, Loogootee Schools received a C, the same as the year before.
In Greene County, the Bloomfield School Corporation received a B, down from an A the year before.
Eastern Greene improved from a C to an A.
The Linton School Corporation held steady with a C.
Shakamak improved from a C to a B.
And, White River Valley's grade jumped from a C to an A.
In Sullivan County, the Northeast Sullivan School Corporation received a D, the same as in 2012.
The Southwest Sullivan School Corporation received an A, also the same as the year before.
The Pike County School Corporation received a B, up from a C in 2012.
In Dubois County, Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest Dubois School Corporations along with Jasper Consolidated all received A's, the same as the year before.
In Gibson County, the East and North Gibson School Corporations improved from a C to a B.
The South Gibson School Corporation received an A, the same as in 2012.
