Motorists Asked to be on Lookout for Patching Crews on I-64



Drivers are asked to be on the lookout again today for workers patching potholes along Interstate 64 in Warrick, Spencer, Dubois and Perry Counties.

There will be lane restrictions in the westbound lanes between State Road 37 and State Road 61.

In Porter County, Indiana Wednesday, A driver not paying attention and following too closely hit the rear of an Indiana Department of Transportation INDOT truck that was following a crew patching potholes.

No one was injured.

Meanwhile, work will begin Tuesday to patch potholes in the eastbound lanes of I-64 between Exit 39 and Exit 79.

All work is expected to start at 7:00 A.M. local time and be complete by 4:00 P.M. each day.

All work is expected to be completed by next Wednesday, weather permitting.
