Former Foster Kids May Gain health Insurance

Thousands of former foster children in Indiana stand to gain health insurance under the federal health care overhaul.

Beginning January 1st, states will be required to allow children who have aged out of the system to keep Medicaid coverage through age 26.

The state is contacting former foster children to let them know they're eligible for coverage.
