Illinois Governor Pat Quinn is renewing his call for an increase in the state's minimum wage. The current minimum wage of eight dollars and 25 cents an hour has been in place since 2010. Quinn says he would like to see it raised to at least 10 bucks an hour. He says no one should work 40 hours a week and still be living in poverty. Opponents argue such an increase would be hard on businesses, especially small businesses already struggling to make payroll each month.
