Knox County officials say the US Postal Service continues to resist efforts to resolve address problems in the community of Freelandville. The problem is that all physical addresses in Freelandville use an Edwardsport zip code. That's created some confusion with the county's E-911 service. And that confusion could cost someone their life. Officials are quick to point out that most emergency responders are experienced enough to know the difference between a Freelandville and Edwardsport address. County officials say postal officials in Indianapolis have been unwilling to correct the problem. The matter will be taken to Congressman Larry Bucshon.
