One-Year Anniversary of Lowell Badger Homicide Approaching

The one-year anniversary of the Lowell Badger Homicide is approaching and Indiana State Police continue to seek the public's help in finding his killer or killers.

The 85-year-old Badger was found shot to death in his rural Sullivan County home on December 8th of last year, the apparent victim of a burglary.

Taken during the burglary was a light to medium dark gray safe,  measuring 23 ½ inches tall, 17 inches in depth, and 17 inches wide.

Police say it was in pristine condition and manufactured by John D. Brush and Company.

Also taken was a black 46" Sony Bravia LCD television.

Anyone with information on the safe and/or television are asked to contact the State Police Post in Putnamville or the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.

A 38-thousand dollar reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
