The new Farbest Foods Turkey Processing plant in the Vincennes Industrial park will begin operations December 9th. The new 227-thousand square foot plant will employ about 300 workers. During a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday morning, Farbest Foods C.E.O. Ted Seger (Sagar) hinted that more jobs could be added in the future… The operation is expected to reach full production next year. Monday's ceremony also marked the opening of J.F.S Milling in Bruceville which will provide the feed for the turkeys to be processed at the Vincennes plant.
