Farbest Foods Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Set for December 2nd
Farbest Foods will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, December 2nd to open its new turkey processing plant in the Vincennes Industrial Park.
The ceremony gets underway at 10:00 AM.
Indiana Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann is scheduled to attend.
The ribbon cutting also officially marks the opening of JFS Milling in Bruceville which will provide the feed for turkeys that will eventually be processed at the Keller Road plant.
With the first full shift, the new 227,000 square-foot plant will employ 300 people with the potential of adding significantly more if a second shift is added.
