State Police say a Loogootee man escaped serious injury Friday afternoon when his semi-tractor trailer ran off State Road 56 in Dubois County and rolled over. Police say 60-year-old Robert E. Lee of Loogootee was eastbound on State Road 56 when his semi-tractor trailer left the roadway on a curve. The semi struck a ditch, rolled over, struck a utility pole and spilled its load of grain onto the highway. Lee suffered only minor head scratches and refused treatment at the scene. Police say Lee was wearing his seatbelt which may have saved his life due to the semi-tractor being a total loss.
