Bloomington Removes Signs Seeking Information on Missing I.U. Student
Bloomington city workers have taken down 20 signs seeking information about Lauren Spierer, an Indiana University student who disappeared more than two years ago.
The decision to take down the signs was made by Mayor Mark Kruzan, who says the city initially planned to take down the signs after IU graduation in May.
However, when local firefighters decided to renovate the volunteers' signs in April, the city decided to wait another six months before taking them down.
The 20-year-old Greenburgh, New York woman vanished early on June 3rd, 2011.
No trace of her has been found.
