Evansville police say they're increasing patrols in a south side neighborhood to curb gunfire after their investigation into the latest shooting incident there was met by uncooperative witnesses. Police say the shooting early Sunday is the latest in a string of "numerous shots fired" calls in recent months. Officers found evidence that about 15 bullets were fired at a home. They say the shooting wasn't random and the intended target was inside at the time, but that person isn't cooperating with investigators. No one inside the home was injured.
